A 2015 plan that tapped 50 of the region’s leaders to guide the Eastern Upper Peninsula toward a prosperous future continues to garner attention both nationally and in Michigan, as its creators are honored at two separate ceremonies in October for planning innovation and excellence.

The Eastern Upper Peninsula Regional Planning and Development Commission (EUPRPDC) will take home awards from the Michigan Association of Planning (MAP) and the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) for “Elevating the Eastern Upper Peninsula” – a comprehensive economic development strategy for the 3-county region.
