As the CEO of EUPRPDC and UPWARD Talent Council Michigan Works! Regional Director for Chippewa, Luce and Mackinac County's, Jeff supervises all of the projects and programs carried out by staff, development of the annual work plan, budget preparation and serves on various local, regional and other bodies, provides information and supervises staff. Mr. Hagan is a current member and on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Association of Planning and a member of the MEDC Redevelopment Ready Communities Advisory Committee. He holds a B.S. in Land Use Planning and Area Management from Lake Superior State University and has been with the Commission since 2000, and its Director/CEO since 2007.
Finance and Programs Manager
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, Ellen participates in agency administration, including policy and program development. She supervises planners and clerical staff, coordinates research and analysis, and data compilation. Ellen is also responsible for administering and preparing the financial statements of the Commission, administering the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) Regional Regranting program for the Eastern U.P. , she also plays an integral role in our Transportation Planning, Coastal Zone Management, Trails Initiatives and Hazard Mitigation Planning programs. She holds a degree in Business Data Processing from LSSU and has been with the Agency since 1987.
GIS Coordinator/Transportation Planner
Nathan manages the GIS Department, and leads the Commission's efforts on mapping support for various grants and all projects. He is also the MDOT Asset Management Coordinator and assists on various transportation planning related projects. Nathan holds a degree in GIS and Natural Resources from Lake Superior State University and has been at the Regional Planning Commission since 2012.
Eric is a Planner II with a primary focus on many of the Commission's Regional Prosperity Initiative projects and programs, EDA Economic Development District Planning, staff support to the Chippewa County EDC, as well as community development and planning projects. Eric graduated from Michigan State University in 2014 with a B.S. in Urban and Regional Planning.
Alicia jumped on board with EUP almost immediately after graduating from LSSU in May, 2015. She provides staff support to the GIS Coordinator on the development of GIS maps, and system maintenance, she also provides GIS support to all Commission projects, coordinates traffic counting and is part of the MDOT Asset Management PASER team. She is a 2015 graduate of Lake Superior State University with a B.S. in Conservation Biology.

Rebecca joined the staff at EUP in October, 2015 and provides staff support on a variety of the Commission's current projects. She is the primary staff member on the EDA CEDS Annual Performance Plan, the M-134 and US-2 Scenic Byways efforts, as well as some of our Trails Initiatives, and the RPI. She graduated with a M.A. from UNLV in History and Religion in 2013, and a B.A. in French and History from Grand Valley State in 2009.

Kim started with the Commission in July, 2016, after a long and fruitful career with the Michigan Works! agency in the EUP. She provides administrative support to the planning staff and assists with the daily operations of the Commission's office in Sault Ste. Marie.
